This privacy statement describes Fleet Forum’s policy concerning the gathering and sharing of visitors’ information through Driver’s Seat (driversseat.online website and the smartphone application).
What information does Fleet Forum collect?
Normal web site usage
In general, you can browse the Fleet Forum site without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. The only information we gather during general browsing is from standard server logs. These include your IP (Internet Protocol) address, domain name, browser type, operating system, and information such as the web site that referred you to us, the files you download, the pages you visit, and the dates/times of those visits.
Collection of personally identifiable information
If you register for a newsletter, use our Fleet Forum tools, request information, register for an event, workshop or training, provide feedback, apply for a job, or join an electronic mailing list, you will be asked to provide personal information such as your name, telephone number, job title and e-mail address. This information is collected only with your knowledge and permission, and is kept in the Fleet Forum databases and mailing lists.
On the Fleet Forum website, registering or supplying personal information sets a cookie*. By setting this cookie, Fleet Forum will remember your details the next time you visit, so you don’t have to re-enter the information. This helps us to provide you with a better service.

In short: some information – such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and / or browser and device characteristics – is collected automatically when you visited Driver’s Seat
We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use or navigate Driver’s Seat. This information does not reveal your specific identify (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, languages preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our App and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our App, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

To facilitate account creation and logon process: If you choose to link your account with us to a third-party account (such as Facebook account), we use the information you allowed us to collect from those third parties to facilitate account creation and logon process for the performance of the contract. To post testimonials. We post testimonials on our App that may collect personal information. Prior to posting a testimonial, we will obtain your consent to use your name and the content of the testimonial. How long do we handle your social logins?
In short: If you choose to register or log in to our services using a social media account, we may have access to certain information about you.
Our App offers you the ability to register and login using your third-party social media account details (namely Facebook login). Where you choose to do this, we will receive certain profile information about you from your social media provider. The profile information we receive may vary depending on the social media provider concerned, but will often include your name, email address, friends list, profile picture as well as other information you choose to make public on such social media platform.
We will use the information we receive only for the purposes that are described in this privacy policy or that are otherwise made clear to you on the App. Please note that we do not control, and are not responsible for, other uses of your personal information by your third-party social media provider. How long do we keep your information?
In short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless otherwise required by law.
We will only keep your personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). No purpose in this policy will require is keeping your personal information for longer than the period of time in which users have an account with us.
We we have no ongoing legitimate organisational need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise such information, of it this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

Fleet Forum does not sell any personally identifiable information volunteered on the Fleet Forum site to any third parties. The Site and the Service contain links to third party websites and resources. You acknowledge and agree that Fleet Forum is not responsible or liable for the availability, accuracy, content or policies of third party websites or resources. Any information provided to Fleet Forum by users of the Fleet Forum site is held with the utmost care and security, and will not be used in ways other than as set forth in this privacy policy, or in any site-specific policies, or in ways to which you have explicitly consented. Fleet Forum employs a range of technologies and security measures to protect the information maintained on our systems from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
All our representative who have access to, and are associated with the processing of personal data, are obliged to respect the confidentiality of official business matters, including personal data.
Notification of changes

Deletion of your data:
In case you no longer want to use the Driver’s Seat app and also want to use the data associated with your account, simply send an email to info@fleetforum.org requesting for your data to be deleted. In your message you have to mention your Facebook login name that you use to log in to the Driver’s Seat app
